THE MAN BEHIND THE SUCCESS OF ALTERNATIVO COOPERATIVE
HIS EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
DOK EDGAR LOZADA DELIBO is the founder / organizer and currently the Chairman of ALTERNATIBO MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE. He is a Doctor of Ministry in ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE confirmed by The OPEN SEMINARY on
THE GOVERNMENT RECOGNITION AND HIS ELIGIBILITY
After his graduation from college, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) granted him a Professional Career Eligibility without necessarily taking the CSC Prof exams as mandated by the Law. Then, due to poverty, he was not able to enroll a formal REVIEW but took the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) of the same year and passed. Subsequently, he took and passed the third, second and first class TESDA EXAMS and adjudge as the Best Trainer by TESDA PROVINCIAL Methodology Training Course.
HIS ADVOCACIES AND HEART FOR ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE
Because of his love for broadcast, in 1999 he volunteered as a Radio Anchor advocating Good Governance and practical Education over DXML Digos City while teaching at DIGOSTECH, Inc., By that year(1999), he was hired by ABS-CBN Davao as provincial Correspondent and weekly Program Host advocating Anti-corruption in the provinces which earned him a reputation of an anti-graft crusader with considerable enemies from those corrupt politicians in the government and unscrupulous businessmen. Soon, he was appointed as School Director of DIGOSTECH, the youngest at the age of 24. At the same time, he organized and led a Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU) named BANTAY KATAWHAN (with the reputable elders from Davao del Sur.) working with the office of the Ombudsman Mindanao. Three years after, he resigned as School Director and accept the offer of ABS-CBN DXAB as daily anchor of primetime BANTAY PATROL Radio Program popularizing the alternative medicine segment BANTAY PANGLAWAS. He was advocating natural treatment program due to his kidney stones and stomach disorders plus the health problems of his wife (myoma, toxic goiter, rheumatic heart, and migraine). He was the first who proved through broadcast that those illnesses can be cured effectively by natural treatment.
During that time, a board of Director from Department of Health (DOH)- Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITACH) named ELIZABETH MICALLER Ph.D visited him as ‘guest on air’ and invited him to join a EUROPEAN IRIDOLOGY Class with basics of SCLEROLOGY. While handling a radio program, he advocates livelihood trainings and seminars as well as free alternative medical missions. It was the moment of organizing the first batch of his Radio listeners and sympathizers organizing them into a cooperative.
Through series of meetings with Cooperative Development Authority officials, the cooperative was formally organized with CDA certification bearing the name ALTERNATIVO MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE on June of 2006.
HIS AFFILATIONS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS
He is the man behind the progress of the cooperative who toil day and night in praying and working for its improvement. With his researches and experiments, he develop herbal formulations like Skin Detox, Gotukola Ointment, Liniment, Dok B Complex and most importantly, he invented an eye drop solution named as VISION tawa-tawa eye drops with patents from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines . He established a back up entity known as DOK ALTERNATIBO HERBAL PRODUCTS as A PRODUCER and distributor of Herbal Capsules like the popular unodostres, Naturesmed, and the like from the same producer MG HERBAL MANUFACTURING. To date we have more than 20 variety of products under our cooperative.
As a full-pledge inventor, he was admitted as a member of Davao Inventors Association (DIA) and become the Vice- President for National Advocacy of FILINFED or Filipino Inventors Federation Headed by Chairman Invertor PGonzalo Catan Jr. (owner MAPECON) and its President Inventor Vergilio Sangutan (owner MI HERBAL). He is the Auditor of IIPA or International Iridology Practitioner Association Davao City Chapter and attended various seminars both in local and national conventions. He has been invited as Guest speaker in various topics such as natural treatment for those so-called hopeless diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, Nervous Breakdown, Cancer and other chronic Diseases.
